This policy explains how personal data are processed when you visit this website or contact us, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018).

The quote form on this website does not store data on our servers: it prepares a message that you send yourself through WhatsApp or your own email application.
Services used by the website
Hosting
The website is published on the Bazium platform (Bazium OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia) and hosted on servers in Germany operated by Hetzner Online GmbH. Data remain within the European Union.
Audience statistics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not store IP addresses or build individual profiles. It records aggregated information such as pages viewed, referring websites, device type and interactions with the page (for example, opening a service description). Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (art. 6(1)(f)).
Translation widget
The language switcher is provided by GTranslate and uses Google's translation service. When you choose a language, a technical cookie named googtrans stores your choice for the session. Text to be translated and your IP address are transmitted to the provider.
Fonts and interactive 3D model
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the 3D viewer library from the jsDelivr content delivery network. Loading these files transmits your IP address to the respective providers, which may process it outside the European Union under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
If you write to us on WhatsApp, you use a service of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., which processes your data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. The marina maps shown on the website are static images and do not connect to any third-party map service.
Cookies
This website uses only technical cookies needed for it to work, such as the language choice described above. In line with the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021, technical cookies do not require consent, so no cookie banner is shown. No advertising or profiling cookies are used.
Recipients
Your data are processed by our staff and, where necessary for the work you request, shared with the specialists and marinas involved, and with our accountant for invoicing. They are never sold. Technical providers listed above act as processors or independent controllers.
Your rights
Under articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have them corrected or erased, to restrict or object to their processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to sailoroneitalia@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome – www.garanteprivacy.it.
Is providing data mandatory?
No. However, without contact details and a description of your request we cannot answer or prepare a quote.
Security
Connections to the website are encrypted (HTTPS). We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
